Paulina Abascal Mexico
Regarded as one of the top ten chefs in Mexico,Paulina Abascal runs her own gourmet food TV show, with an audience of more than 20 million people. She studied hotel management in Mexico and took a course in pastry and chocolate at the prestigiousCulinary Institute Lenôtre.
Paulina represented Mexico in the 2001 edition of the “Coupe du
Monde de la Pâtisserie" in Lyon, France. She has won a number of
prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal of the Culinary
Academy of France, of which she has been a member since 2004.
Considered by the specialized press as one of the top ten Chefs in
Mexico, Paulina Abascal has her own television show in Gourmet
channel since 2006, with an audience of more than 20 million
people. As an Ambassador for Mexican pastry, Paulina has catered
important events for Pope Benedicto VXI in 2009 and for the Mexican
businessman Carlos Slim in 2010.
Today she runs her own pastry and catering business and is the
representative for well-known brands like Splenda and Nestlé. She
is now almost ready to present her clothing line of chef’s jackets
as well as her own line of pastry utensils. By the end of 2011, she
will publish her new book, titled “Sweet kisses”.
