About: National selections

National selections in 19 worldWIDE

Over the last eighteen months, each of the 19 finalists has successfully competed for the title of “National Chocolate Master” in their own country, thereby qualifying for the final.

In each country there is a jury made up of prominent local celebrity chocolate master and chefs who evaluate the contestants’ work. The jury will evaluate each showpiece for its creativity and innovation. The taste of the recipe remains above all the most important criteria!..

World Finals in October 2011

The overall winner will hold the prestigious title of "World Chocolate Master 2011" until the next final in 2013, and will receive a prize and gift worth €75,000.
