JAGUAR: GUARDIAN OF THE COCOA TREE
The jaguar lives in the land of the cocoa trees and was regarded by the Aztecs as the guardian of the fruit. The jaguar was thought to be the incarnation of god Tazcatlipoca “the night sky” (the jaguar is now an endangered species.)
