Frank Haasnoot will represent the Netherlands during the World Finals in Paris 2011

The winner of the Dutch World Chocolate Masters pre-selection is Frank Haasnoot.
The subject of his showpiece was ‘Warrior’, the Aztec warrior prince is mourning about the death of his princess. Because of this he desires to revenge.

He has won a 4-day trip to Ghana and will represent the Netherlands during the World Finals in Paris in 2011, where he will battle against top competitors from around the world. 

2nd place went to Daniël Jongsma. He has studied ‘Allround Pastry and specialism’ at ROC in Amsterdam. Next to that he has finished several courses in Ice and advanced Sugar techniques. Last year Daniël won the Dutch Pastry Awards and the price for best newcomer. At this moment he is working at Passionelle Tummers in Heemstede.

3rd place was given to René Huisman. In 1978 he started his career as trainee at Rijkhoff in Amsterdam. At this moment René has been working at Banketbakkerij Nijstad in Leeuwarden for 12 years. René also performs workshops in working with Chocolate at “Het Oude Westen”.
