John Costello will represent the UK at the World Finals in Paris in October 2011
During the two day competition held at The Restaurant Show,
Earls Court, John from Park Cakes competed against 4 other
contestants to create a 1m high showpiece, moulded and dipped
praline, a chocolate dessert, a chocolate entremet and a mystery
box item!
All the contestants were of a very high standard so the competition
was incredibly tough but Johns stunning showpiece resulted in him
winning the competition and he will go on to represent the UK in
the world final in Paris in Ocober 2011.
Second place was awarded to Ruth Hinks from Cocoa Black. Other
prizes awarded were:
